Botellon Round 2

On Thursday night, I wanted to go to botellón but I wasn't sure who with. I remembered I had talked to Summer about hanging out and possibly going out. I got in touch with her and we decided to meet at Neptuno at 10:30. Before that though, I had an intercambio at 8:30. It was cool, but I'd rather find someone else to do it with. In case you don't know what an intercambio, it's someone with whom you practice another language. In my case, I would help someone with their English and they would help me with my Spanish. Everyone keeps telling me that I don't need help with my Spanish, but I still make mistakes, they may be at a higher level of mistakes, but they're still mistakes.
Allison and Colin went to the intercambio too. When we finished we decided to get some food, because our host families weren't going to make us dinner. We decided to go to La Bella y La Bestia, I had a craving. On the way there, we saw a Subway and Allison and Colin wanted to take pictures in front of it, so we did.
We found a table at La Bella y La Bestia, ordered our drinks and waited for our tapas. There were 3 French people sitting next to us and I overheard them asking questions about the place. I decided to step in and help. You're welcome. After helping them, our big plate of tapas came out, so gooood! Mmmm!! As we were talking, Summer called me and asked where I was, I didn't even realize it was 10:40! I told her I was on my way, I didn't see a reason for me to change when what I was already wearing was good for fuimos al botellón. I put 6 euros on the table just to make sure it covered my two drinks and I rushed off to Summer.
The regular 15 minute walk took me 10. Summer brought her friend Karishma, she's pretty cool. As we were wallking, I explained to them how botellón works. We decided to stop by a Chino store to buy alcohol, a chaser, a bag of ice and 3 cups; all the necessities for a successful night at botellón.
When we got there it wasn't quite full yet but there were still a decent amount of people. We put our bag down, did "nose goes" and Karishma ended up being our bartender. 2 ice cubes, vodka, and fanta (Summer's idea). I would have preferred coke, but she spotted me that night since I only had change, so I let her pick. Some people were dressed up like The Flinstones and I immediately remembered what one of the girls from the intercambio earlier had told me. Tonight was the night of Novatada for the oldest students in the medicine program. And they had to dress up like Fred and Wilma. there were a lot of them, and apparently had been at botellón since 3 or 4 in the afternoon.
This guy immediately came up to us and started talking to us. His name is Michele. His dad gave him a French name. Michele is the French version of Miguel, or Michael. He was cool though, and he poured a little rum into my drink. it tasted funky afterwards. But alcohol is alcohol, so i just drank it slowly. Then one of Michele's friends came up.... Francisco. Topnotch material in my book. I talked to him for a little, then Summer did, meanwhile Karishma was talking to some other dude. Michele went back over to his groups of friends, but it was funny because Francisco was like, well I want to stay and talk to them. It was either me or Fran who mentioned an intercambio and he said that he wanted to do one to. He has a B1 level in English but wants a B2. The levels here from low to high are A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. I told him that I was looking for one too. I used that as my way to get his information. He whipped out his phone and went to Facebook and had me type in my name.Once I found myself, he friend requested me. And then he asked for my number and I got his too.
I was talking him most of the night. He's studying optometry. He's from Granada and lives at home with his mom but he sometimes stays at his friends apartment. I told him that I wanted a home-made Spanish meal and he said that he would do that. And I was said if he makes me one here, then I'll make one for him in the US. He then told me that he wants to visit the US. Everyone wants to visit the US. But I told him that I like Spain a lot better and he told me that Granada is the most beautiful out of all of the cities. We talked about traveling throughout Europe and he told me he has a friend who lives in Italy so sometimes he visits him, and I told him that I'm studying there next semester. And we just kept talking.
Fran said that he had to go meet these girls he met last night and bring them here. He asked if we wanted to go with him and his friend who's name I don't recall. It's either Juan or Jose but we'll just call him J. Karishma, Summer and I decided to go with Fran and J to find these girls. By this time, Karishma and Summer were both drunk, but Summer was more drunk and functioning, whereas Karishma was more drunk and loud. But it's okay.I had my eyes on both of them.
So we walked with Fran and J to meet up with these girls and while walking "somehow" I ended up arm and arm with Fran. We walked a couple streets up when Summer said she couldn't hold her pee anymore so I showed her the Andalusian way of peeing... between cars. Karishma had one side covered and I had the other, in case someone walked by. When she finished the guys had walked on and we decided to sit and wait for them. They came back with the girls, and I knew Rita, but the other girl, I didn't. We walked back to botellón and when we were waling through the crows, there were a shit ton of people by now, I literally have no idea how but Summer, Karishma, Fran, J and I got separated from the other girls. Fran and J went to go talk to a croup of girls they knew and I brought Summer to the wall because she wanted to sit. Karishma and I had to pee so I told J to keep an eye on Summer. I showed Karishma the lovely peeing area where everyone goes pee. There was no one back there, very private. We made our way back to the others and found Fran and J talking to Summer. When Summer got me alone, she told me that Fran was asking where I had gone. I said "Really?" and she was like "yeah, he likes you" Obviously I got excited! How could you not?
Fran and J brought us to their other friends. And we met the whole crew. One of them, blonde guy green shirt, put his arm around me and I was looked at Fran and I had my "eeeeh" face, like 'what do I do' and he just laughed. There were like 3 dudes talking at once, and I didn't know who to look at or listen to or follow. A little bit later, Fran said that he had to go because he had to work in the morning. There was no convincing him to stay a little longer. So we said bye.
Summer, Karishma and I also met these girls Irene and Natasha. They both study french too. And they are super nice and cool. I feel like Spanish girls typically are judgmental towards non-Spanish girls and I hate that. So it's nice to actually meet nice Spanish girls. Summer and Karishma ended up leaving a little while later.
After that, I saw a couple of Antonio's friends. Some of them weird dressed up in the Flinstone outfits. and I asked if I could take a picture with them.

I saw another one of Antonio's friends, the one they call "osoburco" and I met his sister who was visiting. I talked with them for a little, and they said they were leaving and I told them I'd go with them. Summer and Karishma had already left and I didn't want to stay there alone.
