We woke up at 8, had breakfast and left at 9:15. I said we should take a cab whereas Callie wanted to take the bus. We took the bus. I watched the clock tick as we stopped and started again for what seemed like forever and I could tell, we weren't going to make it. The train was for 10:05, and we arrived at 10:07. I was upset and angry and tried not to show it, but I was right. A taxi was the right way to go. We went to the information desk to see if we could change it for the next day. Luckily we did and it was free, didn't coat a thing. So that made me happier. Inside the train station in Málaga, there are retail stores. We decided to go inside a couple since it was 10 in the morning. I ended up buying a burgundy dress from h&m. That I know I can wear again and again. I love it!
After eating lunch. We decided to walk around for a bit. Unfortunately that didn't work out all that much because we got lost. We took a wrong turn and had been walking in the wrong direction for about half an hour. As soon as we saw a bus stop we hoped on and hoped off when we saw a line of taxis. The taxi took us to the center and there is when we started our tour.
We walked down you he street and there was an art display of goats, they called it "oh my goats."
After that we went to Museo Carmen Thyssen Málaga and spent about 2 hours there. 4 floors and it was amazing. I always feel classy in art galleries. Like in the movies. There was an exhibit that was of a couple major artists like Van Gogh, Monet, Courbet and Léger.
Next we walked to the museum of wine, but it was closed. So we continued the tour on the map and headed to the cathedral in Palacio Escopial. It was so beautiful with the intricate details. And the building next to it, which I have no idea what it was, but the architecture and details of the borders were amazeballs! Freaking Spaniards man, they took the time to create art and make buildings different whereas in the US, it's about function, not function and a view.
We walked around some more by the Picasso museum, the roman theatre, and a couple other random places. We decided to stop at a tea house for a little and eat. I had Moroccan tea and a crêpe. Callie just had tea. I ended up talking to the waiter. His name is Karim and he's half Spanish half Moroccan. After we were done eating I asked him what there was to do at night. He got excited and said "like going out?" I said yes and he was trying to think and then he told us to wait and he'd be right back. I heard him talking to the other waiters in Arabic about us and then he came back and started describing some place. It was getting a little complicated so I told him that he should just be our guide for the night. And he said yeah after he gets off work. After having learned my lesson with the Germans the night before, I got Karim's number.
After the teteria we walked around some more, had dinner and took the bus back. Unfortunately Callie was too tired to go out and I was already texting Karim. So we didn't so anything, not to mention that the bus for Ronda was at 10 the next day and we didn't want to miss that one too!
