Arriving in Almería

For some reason I woke up an hour and half earlier than I should have. I tried going back to sleep but I was too excited to meet Fer and Rafa. I did sleep a little but though, and my alarm woke me up at 7:30. The train I planned to take was at 10:05. I had my usual breakfast which consists of 2 pieces of bread with Nutella and a cup of tea. I got dressed and put on my burgundy dress from h&m and my bird scarf that I bought at some random store. Nice quality though, Sarra would be proud!
I headed out the door at 8:45 so I could stop by the ATM. Jokes on me because a couple days ago I realized I had less than 60€ in my account and it takes 6 days for the transfer to go through (because of the weekend) and now I have less than 3€. Hahahaha. Love you too life.
I thought it would take me longer to get to the train station, but I guess not? I got there an hour early. Must have been because there weren't a lot of people on the street at 9 in the morning. No one to swerve around with my little silver suitcase dragging behind me.
At the train station, I took a seat where I could see the train and read the board at the same time. There's so many different people at train stations. When a train arrived and all the people started coming off I could see a guy walking to his girl and they kissed. My first thought was that it was cute, my second thought was that it must be nice to have someone who you can do that with. My third thought was I wish I had someone I could do that with. But I'm in Spain having fun and  I think it's a nice last hoorah to have for my "boy-crazy" inside before I get back to the US. I'll have to get done to business and work my butt off because I want extremely good grades so an international company would hire me. That's my dream! To work for an international interior design company and travel through Europe.
Some girl sat down next to me and then asked me if I knew what time it was. That was the start to my friendship with Claudia Rodriguez. We talked about so much! She's a dancer and she got called back by a professional company over the summer. Her boyfriend is a really good soccer player and was offered a spot on a team in London and he said no to that, then he was a offered a spot on a team in Valencia and he said no to that too. He would've had everything paid for! No expenses at all! Crazy!!!! And he said no! What the hell?!?!! She lives in Barcelona and was visiting her mom and surprising her boyfriend. She's 15. And she told me that if I'm Barcelona to tell her and she'll show me around! Now that's even more of an incentive to go.
When we got to Granada I told her I'd add her on Facebook and send her a message. I saw Fer ahead and was excited to meet him. On the walk to the house we talked a lot and asked questions. He took me a tour of Almería and the city center... Which lasted about 30 mins. There isn't much in Almería. It's kind of like Bloomington actually: 2 hours away from a major city but nothing exciting there. Although, Almería is different in the sense that there's the beach and in Bloomington, there are corn fields. We went back to the house so he could show me his pictures from Italy but that failed because he couldn't find them. He brought me a tray of a snack and a cup of water hahaha.

We met up with his mom and and dad and had lunch at an Italian restaurant called Tagliatelle. It was delicious. Sarra told me to get pasta with carbonara sauce but I'm not a white sauce person I'm a red sauce and meat kinda girl. Fer is too and we ordered the same thing. The pasta was huge and for 2 people, there's no way in hell I could've finished that shit! Fer somehow did, even though he said the same thing that it's for 2 people. I wouldn't be surprised if I gained weight from this weekend!
The parents are super nice and the dad likes to say phrases in English. He said "a typical espanish" a lot. So funny. The dad is a lawyer and the mom does something with bankrupt houses that I don't quite remember. Lunch was super nice and fun, but it wasn't done yet. They ordered dessert and I just got a scoop of chocolate gelato. The best I've ever had!!! Mm!!!!
Fer and I went back to the house and took a siesta, we were so full. I watched the Big Bang Theory and Castle in Spanish, flipping back and forth between the two during commercial breaks. I didn't think I was going to fall asleep but I guess I did. I hope I didn't snore.
When I woke up, the mom told me that they were going to mass. The grandfather (Don Jose's dad, Fer's grandfather) passed away last weekend. They were all going to go and so was Antonio's mom. Antonio was going to hang out with me I wasn't alone.
When Antonio and his mom arrived. I said hello to them and then we all left and split up. Antonio and I went to some bar and met up with this kid Jorge who I've seen before in Fer's pictures of Italy. Fer studied in Bologna, Italy. Where he met his girlfriend.
Antonio and I were early to the bar so we ordered. And I remembered that Fer told me that Jorge asked questions about me, but he didn't remember what, and it don't know how you don't remember, these are important details! Anywho, I told Antonio that Fer said Jorge asked questions about me, and right when I said that, Jorge walked in. Creepy timing! Jorge is tall and blonde. But he's not my type so I didn't even think anything of him. I couldn't understand when he was talking to Antonio. One, the music was fucking loud. Two, they don't annunciate: they don't pronounce all the letters and they drop letters in words.
Three, they mumble. It was hard to follow even understand. When Jorge asked me a question, I had to have him repeat it.
Javier came a little later and he is a 20 year old who is pretty cute. But he's shy, you can totally tell. He didn't really say much either. He talked to Antonio a lot of course.
After wards we walked back to the Bru's apartment and chatted with Fer. We were debating in whether it not to go out that night. We decided on not going. We ended up talking about Antonio's girlfriend who he never mentioned to me, and Fer's girlfriend. Then they said "Joselito and Sarra are together, Fer has his girlfriend, Antonio has his.. There's just me and Rafa left." And then they were like "aaahhhh" lightbulb idea. And I said no, "you know how Rafa is" and Antonio said "what? What about my brother?" And then they said that I'm meeting him tomorrow so I should dress up and look nice for him. I was just laughing, I was going to anyways but not for Rafa. Just to look nice in general. Gotta keep up with Spanish fashion. Ya know? Fer and Antonio are crazy.
Antonio left soon after and Fer and I got comfy and watched tv. We ordered a pizza since there was no food. He asked what kind I wanted and I said I like "marguerite" and he said really and I said yes and then he said him too. He asked what I want to drink and I said water was fine and he said really and I said yes and he said him too.
We ended up watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I was flipping through the channels and that's what I found. So I left it on. They had never seen it before. Pilar (the mom) was going to go to bed until it was at the part where Lupin in the werewolf form hears Hermione make the werewolf call from the Forbidden Forest and he starts running after them. The mom said "what happens" and I told her she'd have to watch it and find out. I'm not a spoiler when it comes to movies. Well, I take that back. Sometimes but mostly no.
Soon after Fer and I went to sleep.
