On the bright side, in the RER B from Charles de Gaulle to Denfert-Rochereau, there was this guy sitting down with his dad. I heard him talking in English so I asked in English if anyone was sitting in one of the seats and he said no with perfectly normal English. Then all of a sudden, he starts talking in French... Perfect French, no English accent!! I was like 'what?! A Francophone?' And then I was talking to my dad in French with a mixture of Berber as usual. And I'm sure he heard it. And I just kept looking at him because he had bright blue eyes and dark hair and was pretty cute and spoke perfect French and perfect English. But I use with my dad and he was with his dad so we couldn't quite talk. We go off at the same stop and before he walked away, he looked at me one last time. And that was that.
When my dad and I finally made it to the hotel. The room was tiny but had a big bed. Which is all you really need, a bed a tv and a bathroom. He showered before heading off to dinner to a restaurant near by that had some amazeballs food!
Soon after getting back, we fell asleep.
The next day, my dad had some business in a different city and he left early in the morning. I had the day to myself and went on an adventure! I like being alone in Paris, it only gets lonely at meal times, but other than that... It's not bad at all. The first stop on my adventure, was the Eiffel Tower! So I walked there... It was about an hour walk, and I had nothing but time in the city of love. Luckily, when I first came to Paris, I stayed in the north and saw everything I wanted to in that section. And with my dad I was in the south, so my plan was to see all the I wanted in the southern region. Unfortunately everything is by the river which is in the center and an hour walk away. But as I said before, I didn't mind. When I finally got to the Eiffel Tower... There weren't a lot of people, you could easily maneuver your way around.
Then the Asians came all at once, it was funny.
After the Eiffel Tower, I turned around and headed to the Hotel des Invalides. I walked around and used the map on my phone and calculated which streets is have to take. And I got there in about 20 minutes. Wasn't too far.
My 3rd stop on the day's adventure was Pont des Arts. Also known as the bridge with all the locks. On my way there though I walked down this street called Rue Varennes and I started noticing all these huge ass doors that were so pretty.
After all these doors and so many more, I made it to the bridge.
I made my way back after the Pont des Arts and stopped for a hot chocolate and apple rhubarb pie. So delicious!!! And the waiter was 100% Asian looking with 100% perfect French.
