Wall Street

Clare asked if I wanted to go to Albaycin with her and a couple others. It ended up being Clare, Allison, Colin, Gina, and me.
We walked up the Main Street and stopped at a couple of shops. In total, I talked to like 3 or 4 guys. There's only men who own the shops. A couple days earlier I had been through there and talked to 2 guys. And I guess there was a third party observer and he was like, yeah I recognize you from the other day. Weird, but oh well.
One of the guys was named Tarik and we were just chatting and then he was like "here let me give you something" and I was like what? And he said "a gift." He grabbed a little bag and from it he pulled out something blue in the shape of a teardrop. I flipped it over and I think it was like the "all seeing eye?" But it was pretty and I accepted it. And he ended up giving my friends discounts on stuff they bought. Super nice of him!
As soon as we left they were like "wait, what happened." And then someone said "so are you engaged now?" And I was like "no no no, I know my own religion." It was just courteous and maybe flirtatious of him? Idk. He ended up giving me his number though.
After that we decided to eat pizza since a couple of us were hungry. I think I ended up being leader of the group somehow. A different Allison called me and asked if I wanted to go out with them and I said yeah.
I split ways with the people I was with cause they were going to get churros and I don't really like churros. I met up with Allison M, Adrianna, tommy, Jen, Katherine, and Jackie. We went to some place called Poë. The owner of the place is a British man who I guess has lived in Uganda and Rwanda. They said he lived next to the playboy mansion when he was little and went to their parties. That honestly sounds like an interesting life and I want to hear more of his stories!
As we were getting ready to leave some people ended up talking to these Spanish people. But I guess they were talking to them in English and not Spanish I walked out there and started talking to them in Spanish and they replied to me in Spanish. I was the only one who could understand when they spoke fast and I ended up laughing at something that I wasn't supposed to be able to understand and they were like wait, now we have to be careful. But then they told me to just invent something if anyone from my group asks what they said. And I was like "sí, Claro."
Allison M and I wanted to go with the group of Spaniards instead of to the Mohitoo bar. That place is getting old, honestly. But Allison and I ended up going with the Spanish group. In their group were 4 guys and a girl. The girl Maria ended up leaving since she had to work in the morning. The guys were Carlos, Andres, Jorge, and Miguel. Carlos was quiet, Andres was fun to talk to, Jorge was lively, and Miguel was fucking weird.
We ended up going to a bar called Wall Street. It's a lot like the stock market. There's flat screens inside and on it is a list of drinks, their price and a timer. Every 5 minutes the prices change: they either go up or down based on what people are buying. It was really cool! While in Wall Street, I ended up leaning on Andres because people were trying to get by and somehow I ended up holding his hand, like intertwined fingers.
We left Wall Street and went to a chupeteria.  Chupitos means shots, so a chupeteria is a place that serves shots. There's a big board that has 100 drinks divided into 3 groups: hard, medium, soft. Andres ended up paying for the drinks which was super cool and nice. We all had yhe same drink. The first one was something green but it was good, the second was super strong. I took a whiff and I just knew it was going to burn. Andres asked for my number and then it turned into a huge exchange of numbers.getting Andes and Jorge and giving mine and then remembering there's whatsapp and giving that number.
We all decided to leave since they had to study for their exams the next day. Plus Allison and I had to meet at 8:30 to go to the beach. On the walk back to the main street called Recogidas, Jorge said something and I jokingly punched him on the shoulder and then he ended up picking me but when he put me down he said I was as light as a feather. Jorge and I ended up bonding, he said we would become great friends. And I'm excited to have Spanish friends that I met on my own.
We said bye and did the whole besos thing. And Jorge gave me a big hug, which I was surprised, cause I wasn't expecting it. But those guys are fun. Hopefully we hang out with them tomorrow night, and next weekend.

The whole crew: Allison, Carlos, Andres, me, Jorge, and Miguel.

With love from Spain,
