I traveled to the Amalfi Coast for the a couple of weekends ago. We stayed in Positano and traveled to Sorrento and Capri on Friday and Saturday. Sunday, we went to Pompeii. Although the weather was not the best, the clouds gave for some nice effects in the pictures. On Saturday the weather cleared up a bit, just long enough for us to take a boat tour of the island. The Blue Grotto, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, was closed because the waves were too strong. In order to enter the grotto, you have to lay down in the boat and enter through a small hole. I wish we could have gone inside. Pompeii was interesting though. I was upset about not finding any bodies that were not in the glass boxes. Seeing the dog, and pregnant woman was crazy. And the man covering his face. It was a good weekend trip. I would love to go back and be able to enjoy the water and weather more.
