At it in Athens, Greece

The trip from Corfu to Athens required a  20 min bus ride, 1.5 hour ferry ride followed by a 7 hour bus ride. When we finally arrived, it was 5 in the morning. We separated into the 4 hostels and could either sleep or walk around. The hostels were going to give us breakfast but we had to wait until 7 for that.
At 8 we met up for a walking tour. Each hostel had their own tour guide but I cheated and switched groups since no one I knew was in my hostel. I was with Cat and Christina all day. We saw the parade for all the military, firemen, and policemen. After that, we visited the Olympic stadium and other monuments.

I was excited to walk around on our own and go souvenir shopping. I bought a couple of things for my mom, sister, and of course for myself. There was this place called Poet's Sandals that hand-makes sandals and they are made customary for your feet. We went there since Cat and Christina wanted them, I didn't get a pair. But it was cool to see. The store is actually well-renowned. Many famous celebrities have been there and you can see pictures of them with the owner hanging on the walls. It was interesting.

We split up afterwards to get ready for dinner. Dinner was 15 euro for unlimited wine, and a 4 course meal. The food was absolutely amazing. The first plate was full of Greek appetizers, I can't tell you what they are, because I have no idea what they were. The second course was a salad. The third was a plate of fries and meatballs which I thought was odd. I was expecting a Greek dish. But for dessert we had Greek ice cream.
Once we paid, we could leave and go back to the center and go to bars, or clubs, whatever we desired. We went to the rooftop bar 360, and it was expensive so we decided to leave. We tried A for Athens and it was packed, so we left. We ended up going to a hookah bar. I didn't partake since those of us who were leaving for Santorini had to be ready at 5 am. We literally spent 24 hours in Athens.
